Initial Meeting
We will begin with a face to face meeting to get to know each other. This will take around 60 minutes at a location suitable to you e.g. a local cafe or your home.
You will receive detail regarding the arrangements, and you will also be provided access to resources that will help with the planning of your ceremony. There will also be discussion around the legal requirements.
You will need to complete an Application for Notice of Intended Marriage (Visit to download http://www.dia.govt.nz/diawebsite.nsf/wpg_URL/Services-Births-Deaths-and-Marriages-Forms-Fees-and-Information-Brochures?OpenDocument#two).
Formal Interview
This will be followed at a later date by a formal interview (60-90 minutes) so that I can hear your story, your plans for the future and your hopes and dreams. I will want to hear your ideas for your big day, your wish list and any challenges e.g. family dynamics, blended families etc. We will prepare an outline of your ceremony together, sharing ideas and resources.
It will include the following;

* We will plan the detail of your ceremony
* We will compose your service with readings, poems, music and your own special vows.
Draft Wedding/Civil Union Ceremony
I will then create a draft ceremony, weaving your story,your ideas and wishes together from what you have shared with me. This will be emailed to you for your review and comment.
